To Everyone, It May Concern: Nyashinski Solidifies His Unwavering Reign with New EP

Nyamari Ongegu, who goes by the stage name Nyashinski, has once again demonstrated his lyrical skills and songwriting talents in his new 6-track Extended Play (EP), “To Whom It May Concern.”

The musician-cum-writer has incorporated a blend of aggressive rap with emotion-evoking melodies, all in an effort to send a message to his beloved fans and stress the point that he is his only competition.

Following its official release on September 13, 2024, the body of art was ushered in by a 2-minute glimpse titled “PREQUEL i,” where he tried to elaborate on the parties the EP may aim to enlighten and advise.

His enthusiasm and energy peaks with the first track off the EP (1 of 1). Here, he labels himself as the best in the game, claiming that no critic can predict or occasion his downfall whatsoever. The second track, “Jitu” (giant) verifies his excellence with profound collaborations with veterans Khaligraph Jones and Savara.

The EP maintains the upbeat mood and quality execution with the third song, “Bluff,” where he paints black and white on the hard work and commitment that gave birth to the star he is today. The song drives the point that he has been through a lot and this has coagulated his stance when facing criticizers and hate, elements that come with his job description.

Just as the EP threatens to take a melodic flow with track 4 (Dopamine), he trails it with an incorporation of his previously released single named “Silencer,” now remastered to be at par with the Extended Play.

Nyashinski concluded with a zestful and frisky vein on “Busy,” possessing a tune that closely mirrors his single with Naiboi (Black), released in 2020. He has alluded at the fact that the industry is stained with hate and greed, causing him to be busy with his Ps and Qs.
